Little parisian hotel May 05, 2009
When I was in Paris on 1st May the almost good hotels were already overbooked, so I hardly found a 3 star hotel for the first three days and a 2 star ones for the last day.
Hotel Champerret Heliopolis is located close to Champs Elysees, in a very convenient and quiet & safe area with easy access (50m walk) to the subway station (the metro is very, very, easy to get around on and quite cheap) and lots of buses stop nearby. There is a little patisserie between the hotel and the metro, which was fantastic. Near hotel there are also few places where you can eat/drink (also Mc Donald`s for the fast-food fans). My single room (90 EUR/night) was in reasonable size, clean and comfortable, with a wood balcony & beautiful flowers, and perfect for my needs since I didn`t plan on spending my time in Paris in the hotel room. The people from the reception desk were very friendly, polite and always offered a smile:-). I found Champerret Heliopolis (regarding cleanliness, welcoming) better than other 3 star hotels in Paris.
