Flew from Brunswick Maine to Rota, Spain. It was a little less than 13 hours on a C-130. Can't hear, talk and can barely sleep! Spain is hot. Arrived about 9am.… Loooooooooooooong Night |

I remember this day because we only stopped for supplies. 12 hours give or take but I didn't not get to step foot on land, only enough to go up topside to wave to the ground and say so long for the next 218 days of war.… 12 hour stop over |
