Hotel Bencoolen Singapore

When I went to Singapore on July 2009, I got some hotel issue with the local that made me switch place in a sudden. A friend recommended me to stay at Hotel 81. They are all around. One suggested me at Hotel 81 but when I took a cab there to the Bencoolen street, I got into the wrong hotel. It's actually next door with the Hotel 81. I am writing a review on that one also.

The Front Desk office wasn't really nice. But the room was quite large, and clean. Sure you don't expect something like deluxe 5-star hotel.. but for me, a nice clean bed and esp. nice clean shower is already heaven. I am quite a hygiene freak. I can go dirty outside, play in the mud and whatever, but at the end of the day, I still need a clean bed and bathroom, and I mean, really clean. For me, this hotel (well the room I rented) was quite good.

It was quite a good price when I was there before the summer peak season. Twin Bed, only SGD 118 per night. The price may varies though.
