Hotel Azenberg Stuttgart

This sleeply located hotel is quite a gem.

Although the location isn't the greatest it still has loads to offer. Its about a 20 min walk to the city centre but that is down hill so not too bad - its the walk back which can be a drag after walking around all day (or there is always the other option of the 4 stops on the bus 43 - keeping in mind there is quite a distance between bus stops in stuttgart! and its uphill)

Other than the location the hotel is quite a nice place the rooms are more than comfortable and the beds with the overly fluffy duvets are just perfect.( have slept quite well all cozy) there is tv if you so desire nad the bathrooms are bright and airy with great hot powerful showers - just whats needed after a long day sightseeing. The rooms are also very clean.

other features include the swimming pool and wellnes centre ( yep treated my self for 15euro) which was a nice way to relax. there is 24 hr room service with snacs and more importantly bar service which doesn't cost the earth. (4euro for a big glass of wine/13 for the bottle) the inclusive breakfast is also quite typical continental and cooked with large selection of jucies coffee tea, cold emats cheeses breads cereals etc.... enough to fill up on for the day.

i was luck to have found this hotel on special as i normally stick to the hostels (single hotel rooms aren't cheap) but this one was well worth the extra few punds per night

if your staying a few days it certainly is well worth the effort of getting to and from it.
