Hotel Arno Milan Reviews
Welcoming Hotel In Quiet Area May 18, 2010
The Hotel Arno provided ideal accommodation for my trip to Milan, as I was travelling on a budget and wanted an affordable, clean hotel room. The hotel is situated in a fairly quiet part of the city, roughly a 30 minute walk away from the Duomo Di Milano. Initial findings were good as the twin room we booked was airy, which would prove to be beneficial as the summer heat was stifling. The cleaners must have been pretty thorough because our room was spotless, as was the whole hotel I might add.
The hotels decor was quite bright and charming, yet the real charm of the place could be found in the owner, who was great. On checking in he made us feel very welcome and was eager to help us with any questions we had. This proved pretty invaluable as we had a few questions to ask, mostly about directions. We also managed to share quite a few jokes with him during our stay.
There are probably a few better located hotels in Milan at this budget, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Hotel Arno again. Very clean, affordable and welcoming sum up this place nicely.
