Nice little hotel in a quiet location Jul 01, 2009
Finding a good hotel at a reasonable price when there's a big trade show in Düsseldorf is a major accomplishment. Fortunately for me, my good friend Karl lives just a few blocks from this hotel and so recommended it to me.
The hotel is not fancy but very nice indeed and with excellent service. We ate there one evening and the dinner was great. As far as getting to the messe is concerned, it's quite a distance but we were able to take public transportation and our tickets to the show allowed us to ride for free. Each morning a bus took us from a stop across the street from the hotel to the main train station. From there we were able to take the train directly to the messe. It was perfect!
