Lovely location above the town Jul 26, 2009
We stayed at the Hotel Alpenhof, a lovely, family-owned "wellness hotel" situated above the lake and the town, a bit secluded in a nice way. The amenities were very nice and the attention to personal details was welcome, such as a dedicated table at every meal and personal service by staff that remember your preferences. The lake is about 25 minutes from Salzburg, Austria and 2 hours from Munich airport. Highly recommended.
