Hotel Acropole Delphi Reviews
Grecia Perfecta Apr 12, 2006
My favorite part of Greece was staying in Delphi. It was everything I hoped for in Greece. The food was fresh and authentic. The people were welcoming and friendly. The history is impressive and the scenery is breathtaking. It is small-town Greece at its best.
It was made even better by my staying at the Hotel Acropole. The staff were friendly and recommended places to eat and party around town and the place feels very homey. The best part must be the views overlooking the valley toward toward the Gulf of Corinth. It's breathtaking to wake up to at sunrise.
In the morning, you are treated to fresh yogurt with nuts and jam. The coffee is thick and strong: Pure Greek.
Americans, I warn you: the property next door is full of chickens. If that doesn't put you off (I found it homelike!), you will have a very memorable stay.
