Hotel Aadam Wilhelmina Amsterdam Reviews
Cheap & Cheerful. Jun 27, 2011
Me and a group of five other friends all aged between 19-21 visited this hotel at the end of November 2009.
We chose the hotel mainly because of the price, which was cheaper than anything else in the area and also because of its location in relation to the centre of Amsterdam.
After checking in we all went to our assigned rooms. We had two people in each twin room. The room that me and my friend had was on the 1st floor, there is no lift and the stairs are very steep and narrow. I didn't mind this although one of the rooms our group had been assigned was on the top floor. Trying to get to the top floor after a night out in Amsterdam is pretty difficult with those stairs.
The room was clean and fairly spacious as well as the bathroom which had everything you would expect.
The hotel is on one of the main tram routes into the centre which is very handy as it is roughly a 20-30 minute walk.
We had breakfast included in our room rate but unfortunately (due to bar crawls on the nights before) we didn't make it to breakfast on any of the mornings so I can't really review the food..
I think that with this hotel you get what you pay for and would recommend it to anyone who wants a hotel purely for somewhere to rest in between exploring and drinking.
