Nice Place for a Romantic Getaway Oct 23, 2008
The Hotel 1000 was in a nice location down by the waterfront, walking distance to many things. It was an experience with its High Tech feel but Asian flair. And having a room with a view was lovely.Watching the ships traverse the lanes is relaxing.
The rooms were comfortable and the linens were luxurious. The bathtub filled from a spout in the ceiling....splashed a bit outside but well worth the experience.The rooms are based on SMART technology so it remembers various settings during your stay. The concierge staff were wonderful and handled a number of requests beautifully several weeks ahead of time in order to make the stay even more memorable. I would stay there again! We stayed at the Hotel 1000, billed as "Seattle's premiere luxury destination." What was so lovely for me about this hotel was that it appealed to both my high-tech side, but had a sophisticated elegance for my feminine side! If you get a chance… There's No Place Like Seattle! |
