TRUE ITALIAN FOOD! cheap but excellent Feb 28, 2009
Everytime i went to miami beach, i turned back to this italian restaurant. i grew up with italian food, because half of my family is italian, and that's why i'm really picky when i have to go to an italian restaurant..
all the meals i had at this restaurant were 100% convincing. the plates aren't full with food. i guess people who love eating much, will feel a little bit hungry afterwards, when they leave a table... but if you take a starter, main meal, and a dessert, you surely will have more than enough. their food is, and tastes, fresh... the waiters are VERY friendly, and know how to serve the hosts. if you catch a sunny day, the tables outside are an amazing spot to have lunch..the whole street actually has got a southern charm, reminding me italy or spain. check them out! you won't be disappointed. we paid like 15-17$ for a whole lunch. which is pretty cheap compared to the european prices! This place is a jewel! The food is amazing! Probably best authentic Italian food I've had outside of Italy. It gets a little pricey but it's well worth it. Great place for an Anniversary dinner for two. If you're lucky you'll catch the waiters singing some Italian songs. Great service, very nice staff!

We were lucky to get to the restaurant " Hosteria Romana" when we did, because one minute later it started pouring down rain. Sitting outside in the beautiful Espaniola Way was out of the question. I had the "Tortellini with peas and ham in cream sauce", hubby had "Mussels in wine sauce", sister in law "Chicken… South beach Day 2 |
