Hostellerie Des Chevaliers Gruyeres

…look elsewhere for lodging and drove as far as Charmey but, finding nothing, we returned to Gruyères and took the last 2 rooms at "Hostellerie des Chevaliers" just outside the city walls. After getting settled, we walked back into the walled city for strawberries and Gruyères cream for dessert at "Café-Restaurant des Ramparts". One problem with this town is the price; our simple dinner & dessert cost… To Switzerland for Fondue
