Fantastic hostel, exceptionally clean and run by a really helpful and friendly Scottish couple. New hostel and highly highly recommended! Don't stay anywhere else in Popayan this is the place to be! Double room is $34,000, single $20,000 and dorm room $14,000 at time of writing. The hostel is only about 5mins walk from the bus station and Exito supermarket. It is only 2mins walk for the main plaza. Nice area and safe.

It's a great place to do have a holiday from the holiday, more so because of the hostel we are staying in called Hostel Trail which is run by a Scottish couple. Super friendly and really clean. In fact I would say it's the cleanest hostel we have stayed in. Really impressed! We are off to San Augustin tomorrow morning at 6am. We hadn't realised but we will… The White City |

When I woke up in the morning I found my dorm room in the Hostel Trail was empty, so I quickly decided that I would spend the morning here then head to Cali for the afternoon. Fancied going out on the Friday night so thought I would have more chance of meeting people there. Popayan is a beautiful city… First stop in Colombia! |
