Hostel Loki Reviews
Loki Cusco Nov 18, 2009
The Loki Cusco is an ideal party spot hostel when you are in Cusco. I stayed here in Nov 09' with three of my friends. The good parts about the place are the amplae amount of private full bathrooms and they keep them pretty clean. The bar is very busy on the weekends and parties can go on all night long. If that is a pro or con thats for you to decide, but it will be going down. The dinners served looked good and the breakfast was good as well. It is quite large so there are alot of travelers there. The rooms had nice beds but wood floors that move and creak with any movements. They did have a nice tea/coffe setup. The main drawback would be its location at the top of a steep hill, its something to consider.

Very flexible and Convenient for your stay Apr 09, 2008
Stayed here for a week in May-June 2007. Have reservations if going in the busy season...very easy to do online. Otherwise, you can usually get a room a few days out. Very accommodating...went on 4 day hike and stored suitcase for us. Good prices from $7-12/day. Good food. Quite a climb up the steps from downtown, but a good practice for the Inca trail. 5 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. Can be quite busy and noisy at night or during the day if you are not a sound sleeper..mostly in the Dorm rooms. I'd go back.

Hostel Loki is located near the center of Cuzco with an incredible view of the city form the bar area. The room comes with a big comfortable bed that has clean sheets for no extra charge. Community bathrooms that are well maintained. Free Internet. Great deals at the bar every night, with good advise from the bartenders for where to go later that night. Overall a great experience that made my stay in Cuzco very pleasant.

…enough.
Following a recommendation from one of the guys on the Colca Canyon trip, our accommodation for our Cusco stay would be the infamous Loki hostel. First thing to know about Loki is if you pay more than 4 soles from the bus station to Loki then like us, you have been had. Second thing to know is that it can be put in the 'hugely popular party hostel… Cusco |

The hostel I am staying at, Loki Hostel, is definitely a social place to be. It is packed full and when I arrived, I discovered that I did not have a reservation and in fact, was only on the waiting list. I just had to assume… Welcome to Cuzco |

We had pre-booked in at Loki hostel and got a cab there for S.12 (£3/$4). The hostel is in a beautiful 450 year-old building and on first impressions I have to say its one of the best I've stayed in. We chucked our bags down… Beautiful, old Cuzco |

…After the hard trekking, we needed a much needed blow out, so on Sunday night, Katie and I hit the town with the guys from LOKI hostel, good fun all the way! we headed out into town after a few drinks at the hostel bar, found a great live music place ('km0') which reminded me of a pub back home. Then it was onto Mama Africa to dance… Cuzco nights |
