Sophisticated and snug Jun 25, 2014
From the moment you enter the hostel you can admire tastefully decorated interior. Lively greens and yellows with nature patters seem to dominate the interior. Simple, but elegant furniture complement the overall appearance. Small spaces transformed into comfy and functional rooms and bathrooms. It is all about sophistication here – and very well executed.

Our double room was on the first floor, right next to the kitchen. Just as the rest of the place, it was compact and well designed with charming décor. The double bed was on a risen shelf – accessible via small plush steps. Yellow curtains guarded your privacy and revealed a small balcony with chairs.

En-suite bathroom had everything you needed – a shower (bigger size than most), a toilet and a sink. There was also a small cabinet to keep your bathroom essentials.

Next door kitchen was very well laid out and provided vast choice of equipment to prepare your meals – a toaster, a microwave, a coffee machine, a kettle and an electric hob. You also had access to many kitchen utensils in addition to tea and coffee supply. One could be envious to have a kitchen like this at home (maybe just slightly bigger though).

The only common area, except for the kitchen and an outdoor terrace, was a small lounge downstairs by the reception. You can find there plenty of magazines and a TV.

The hostel provides private parking which is tucked away at the very back of the property and other houses. There is only one access point to get to it, so it is very secure.

The hostel offers also free Wi-Fi (no issues with it whatsoever) and a laundry service (we did not use it).

The hostel is situated on one of the main streets close to the centre – it only takes about 7-10 minutes to reach it. Luckily, being set back into a courtyard, you hear no noise coming from the street.

Tourist information point is only 200 meters away, so you can get all your tourist info before heading into the city.

Cleanliness – everything was immaculately clean including the kitchen. Very impressive.

Overall experience – I would give it 10 out of 10 for an amazing use of small spaces with charmingly designed interior. This place gets my confident vote of recommendation.

Price paid per room per night - €30.40 which is a great price for this quality of accommodation.

I know. It didn't look like you should have expected this entering the main passageway.
