Didn't want to leave... Jan 14, 2011
I only stayed at Hostel Ka'beh for one night, but I didn't want to leave. I didn't take a shower or use the kitchen, so I really don't have a lot to say about that, but what I can tell you is that this hostel is clean and the staff is phenomenal. The atmosphere was really mellow and laid back, with a set up that was basically like a house converted into a hostel, you felt like everyone was friends. The location is in the heart of downtown Cancun, a short walk from the bus stop. You do have to take a bus to the beach, but since the bus stop is so close it's really not an issue.

The best think about Hostel Ka'beh is the friendly, comfortable atmosphere, and the staff. The owner, David, is awesome, and ladies: I saw him first. In fact, if he asks you where you heard about his hostel, tell him that a blonde from California named Susanna sent you, and then casually mention that she wants to marry him. Got it? Thanks.

For me it was one of the best hostels that I ever stayed at. Living together there was like a big family! The staff was very friendly. At Ka'Beh they offered free food (nudels, rice, potato, tomato, onion, pancake, orange etc.) No breakfast time! You can take food from the frigde whenever you want.

Awesome little hostel, that feels like home!! Would thoroughly recommend it to any traveler that enjoys having fun and drinking! They arrange entrances to the night clubs in the hotel zone - which is a must!!

Staff are so friendly and sharing. Very cheap to catch a bus to the beach also which is a bonus.
