MONDAY
We arrived at the border crossing 'Garljano' which is half way between Sofia and FYR Macedonia capital of Skopje. This was probably one of the longest border crossing I have come across to date. It was mainly the Bulgarian side which took t…hostel, just west of the city centre. Costing €3 in total for a twelve minute journey (and nearly getting involved in at least two car crashes at traffic lights, and having all our luggage on our laps!) we arrived safely.

I am glad to get out of Albania. The bus droped me off somewhere in Skopje at 4am, after drawing a map for taxi driver and finally getting to my hostel I walked in the door shakking and cold and ready to scream!The guy running the hostel took …hostel I walked in the door shakking and cold and ready to scream!
