Hostel Enjoy Sarajevo Reviews
Jul 07, 2007
The only hostel I stayed in while visiting Sarajevo, so a bit hard to compare, but for hostels in this neck of the woods, it was quite nice. Like so many others, it's a small apartment that has been converted into a hostel by putting two bunkbeds in one room, with a couple of two bed, and I think a single bedroom rooms as well. No real supplies for cooking your own food as I recall, but it was very clean and small enough that having the one bathroom/shower wasn't really a problem. There are no lockers to store your belongings.
The location is great, just four/five blocks from the bus station, and another five/six from the cultural part of the city. The owner's husband is a taxi driver, and they met me at the bus station and took me to the hostel for no additional charge. You get a key, there is no curfew, and for someone who likes to meet other friendly backpackers yet prefers to go somewhere other than the room he's sleeping in for music, alcohol, and dancing, it was perfect.
