Hostel Cinque Terre Reviews
Dorm accomodation in the beautiful Cinque Terre Apr 23, 2008
I stayed at the Hostel Cinque Terre for 3 nights in April. It's located high on the hill in Manarola, one of the smaller Cinque Terre villages.
Pros: Large rooms and lockers Friendly staff Cheap meals and snacks Laundry on site (the cheapest I could find in CT, 6 euros wash and dry) Patio that gets lots of sun Cons: Lock out from 10 to 4 High on the hill, so the walk is steep but the entire town is on a hill! You receive a shower token that is good for one, five minute shower. It was enough time for me, but maybe not for everyone Internet was expensive (1 euro for 15 minutes) Overall I thought it was a great accomodation for a single traveller. Since I spent the day sightseeing, the lockout didn't affect me. However, at almost 50 euros for two people, you might be better off staying in a room, that seem to be plentiful throughout the Cinque Terre. |
