I was up early and went straight to the train station and caught a train to Bratislava, which arrived just after midday.  I had a map of Bratislava that had about 6 youth hostels marked on it and I decided to try to get a bed for the night stra…hostel Blues, which was really nice.   I dumped my bag then set off into the town and had a look around all the main sights.   It was about 27°C so it was not too hot to be walking around.   The old town… A very nice town

About a year ago after being active on travbuddy for 2-3 months, I couldn’t even imagine how many travbuddies I would meet the following year. Besides TB meetups while travelling myself I met many of them when they came to visi…Blues Hostel in the center, I knew it already thanks to other travbuddies who stayed there in the past. There was unfortunatly no direct bus or tram from the station, we would have to walk afterwards anyway, so I suggested to walk the whole… With travbuddies Ana and Raquel from Portugal.

YES! We're finally going to Bratislava. In the early morning we drove with Ket to Brussel Charleroi and met Bennie there. After an 1,5 hour (record-time) flight we landed in Bratislava. Martin picked us up from the airport and dropped us at Hostel B…airport and dropped us at Hostel Blues. There we've met Jeff in our 5-person room. Later we also met Petri and went out together to get a first impression of Bratislava and have dinner/drinks together. Thanks for showing us your beautiful city Martin! :D … Bratislava - Part I
