Hostel Amigo - hated it May 13, 2010
Sucre is a beautiful place. I really enjoyed my time here, even if I spent most of it on the toilet. This hostel does not go hand in hand with Sucre’s beauty. It’s cheap, which is a good thing, but I definitely would not go back here if I return to Sucre. The best the worst bed I slept in the whole time I was here, even worse then when I slept on the ground in the Amazon, no joke. My boyfriend and I slept in a double bed, although there are dorms available here, and where he lied on his back, there was a dip, and where I laid on my back, there was a rise, it’s almost like it migrated to my side. Totally not how I wanted to sleep.

I don’t think I saw a single staff member when I was here, other than when we checked in and out. The door wasn’t even locked. Security was very slack. There was a kitchen, but no fridge, only a Styrofoam cooler that didn’t keep anything cool. You did get a free breakfast. If possible, stay away from this hostel.
