Good location near city center Jan 22, 2017
Such as any other Chilean cities Valdivia is a very busy city. We're lucky that this hostal (guesthouse) not in a busy street is just 200 meters away, nearby there are restaurants and bars

The owner only spanish speaking, they have private parking you must go first inside and ask for the parking and she will then open the gate.

The street Yerbas Buenas is a one way street the owner explain where you drive is a little confusing, the gate where you drive-in is in the corner of another street, but you get in at the backside of the guesthouse where you immediately at the reception

The entrance/ lobby is very special a terrace full with hanging plants the wall is full with different style of hats probably a collection.

The communal living room and breakfast room are in the same area. There are two stairs to go up, a spiral stair where it is right on the reception, the regular stair is on the otherside of reception, this is easy to go up with your luggage

Room: it consist one double bed, carpet floor, a chair, luggage stander, tv, closet with hangers. Neat and clean room

Free wifi is very slow connection inside the room, you have to go down to the communal room if you really want a fast connection

Bathroom: has towels, shower, lavabo, toilet, not really a big bathroom but enough space

Breakfast included served from 8-10 am a basic breaky you get one fresh bread, cake, a slice cheese and a ham and instant coffee

Price per night is 40$ plus tax. The location of the guesthouse and the room is worth the price and with free parking

The annoying thing, you don't get a key of front door you must ring the door each time you came in, but the lady owner is home ans watch the door bell

Outdoor pool is available but I didn't see anyone swimming although it was hot that day

Parkings in Valdivia is payable till late at night. We didn't drive the car once we arrived, we walk to the city center. The location of the guesthouse is so closed to everything. Either coming with public transport or car this is perfect and quiet place to stay
