Hostal Metropol

This Hostal is located in the same building as my Hostal Luis XV. It takes up the first 5 floors of the building and is very much like a cheap hotel. It has a common area, computers, and a breakfast included in the price, and the price overall is very cheap. The staff speaks english well and is very nice.

Located On Contera and Gran Via, is a couple of blocks away from Puerta del Sol the center of Madrid, and is near main shopping district and Plaza Mayor. Metro stops right infront of the hostal. This is the spot to go to if you are backpacking or just on a budget. One weird observation is that this hotel is located on a street where prostitutes hang out and wait for business… It is well known even by local Policia, who are located on the same street haha
