Hostal Astorga Arequipa Reviews

This wasn't a very good hotel. It was located in a very ugly neighbourhood and it wasn't really a safe place to stay. Although Peru is very safe, you have to watch your steps in every country. This hotel was like, they but a bandage over the toilet to say that it was clean, while it was just terribly dirty. I'm a toiletfreak (it must be heald fresh), so for me that was a bit of a problem. The beds were awful, but I can't complain actually, because we at least had a bed. When you were on the floor, like say, the 6th floor and you would have a key of a room, it doesn't matter which number, you can just go inside every other room. So it's really not safe for your bagage and stuff. You have to be carefull with that. I know this, because I didn't realize I had the wrong key, so I went in the room and went back out and gave the key back and I was like, that's not the right roomnumber. Very weird. The hotelpersonal is very sweet. Breakfast that is served is also very good, so that's quite allright. I just wasn't really into the dirty things you saw in the batroom. But maybe that's me talking like a hygienefreak. I'm not even sure if I have the hotelname right, I could be mistaken, but it seems familiar.
