Hostal Apuntadores

Well here I am in Mallorca. Found the Hostal Apuntadores up a small street near the cathedral and so far so good. The room is 35 euros a night and has a double bed and bathroom. It´s kind of small but clean and adequate and perfect for me. No view from the room - I overlook the room next door. Great Views form the roof though. There is this flower filled roof garden with chairs and tables. I feel that most of Mallorca must be visible from up there - mountains, sea, the city, the beach. It rocks.

The other guests are a mixed bunch - some students like me, some guys who are looking for work on the superyachts and a group of dutch cyclists.

The breakfast was pretty basic with not much choice but there are loads of bars and cafes around. I actually went to the supermarket and had fruti and yoghurt on the roof.

The staff seem OK, helpful and kind. Whenever i speak to them in spanish they reply in ehglish which is kind of annoying.

I am going out to see the city so more later
