Horizon Beach Resort Reviews

Sep 12, 2007
This hostel is perfect for a quick stay in Nadi while you plan the rest of your Fijian adventures. You can catch a free shuttle from the Nadi airport and the return trip to the airport costs around $5-10 USD, much cheaper than a taxi. The rooms are decent, you can stay in a shared room (around 20 bunks) with no airconditioning for around $7 USD per night (2005). There are shared rooms with a/c and private rooms as well. Breakfast of toast, coffee, and tea is also included. The hostel is located in New Town Beach which is not the nicest beach. Typically you have to travel to the outerlying islands to see the "picturesque Fiji" everyone hears about. On weekend nights the hostel has a kava ceremony. There is also a full bar, restaurant, internet access, and swimming pool. You can also book tours from the hostel. And the staff was very friendly!
