Hopewell Rocks Park Reviews
Aug 15, 2006
Have you ever dreamed of walking the bottom of a body of water? Much like in Northern Germany, New Brunswick Canada has this chance of a lifetime. The Bay of Fundy goes out 50 feet at low tide. Guests are able to walk the bottom of the bay of Fundy...
don't make the same mistake I did! Just because it's a beach doesn't mean flip flops! They were sucked right off of my feet into the Bay of Fundy mud!
Also, those pretty little round shells that you find on the seabottom... may have inhabitants. My brother picked up about 20 shells that all turned out to be hermit crabs ;-)
If you stay long enough, when high tide comes, you can see the Bay of Fundy fill up again, and see hundreds of feet of water where you had just been standing.
This was amazing. Beautiful, and something most people never get to do. I would recommend it to anyone. Also, you can sea kayak when the tide comes back in ;-)
