Tahiti Beach - It's a beach that Preston took us to on his rental boat. It's a beautiful part of the island. It's on the opposite side of the island from the harbour. Barometer Bob had been prediciting a heavy rainfall for the past couple of days now, and today it finally came. We are thus stuck in the house until the rain passes. So I decided to create a travel blog. My first thought when I heard the rain beating down this morning was Yes! the shower cistern will fill up! All the water we use in our house comes from a cistern that catches rain water and purifies it for our use. So if there's no rain, there's no running water. So we welcome the rain! Yeste...
