Hong Kong Tim Sum Dec 27, 2008
Tim Sum, which means "heart's delight," is more than just a variety of snacks consisting of steamed dumplings, shrimp balls, pastries, and spring rolls. It is a culinary lifestyle that is popular with the chinese and often associated with Hong Kong and Chinatown worldwide.

This particular place is set in an air-conditioned coffeeshop on the ground level of a HDB block and occupies 3 stalls. Recently established (Dec 08), it has very good service and the food comes out fresh.

I have several favourites. Their specialty Peking Duck is deliciously presented with roast duck and servings of pancakes to wrap the duck slices. The other big hit is Chee Cheong Fun with shrimp roll, nothing can beat the combo of steamed freshness and fried to crispy sensation.

Finish up with mango pudding or why not try something new, Century Egg 'rose filling' pastry!!! Yummy!!! :p

Overall I like this place for its interesting Tim Sum dishes and you'll be surprised how many new ones they have. Welcome to little Hong Kong!!
