Hong Kong Museum of History Reviews
Want to learn Hong Kong history the fastest way? Jul 13, 2011
If you're into History, and you're visiting Hong Kong, then visit Hong Kong Museum of History. Even if you're not into histories, it's a good place to bring your kids to, as the Science Museum is nearby as well.
The Museum is divided into 8 parts from:
a) Natural Environment
b) Prehistoric HK
d) Folk Culture
e) Opium War
f) Birth & Early Growth of City
g) Japanese Occupation
h) Modern Metropolis & Return to China
Besides of this, they have cool video presentation for better understanding of the history. Audio guides are provided (but i didn't opt for one)
The Museum is Walking distance from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station and opens from 10 a.m - 6 pm (earlier than the Science Museum).
A standard ticket costs 10 HKD , but remember as I've said, Free admissions on Wednesday (for most of the museums in HK)
This Museum is one of the most valuable museum i've been to (besides of Macau)
