Honey Hostel Krakow Reviews
Average place below the castle hill Jan 04, 2012
Honey Hostel is located very close to Wawel hill, only 2 minutes walking, 7-8 minutes to the Main square and maybe 15-20 to train station.
I had a double room, but besides a double bed it had two other bunk beds. My bed was thin and uncomfortable, with plain foam instead of mattress. Room had no central heating, but they did provide a heater that was making a lot of noise. At least it did the job.
Common area/dinning room/kitchen is all one room. There's one couch and two tables with some plastic chairs with no back. This room can use more chairs or couches, but comfortable.
Shared bathrooms were actually nice. They had enough paper, both towel and toilet paper. Even hand soup is provided.
Cleanliness was ok, not spotless, but not dirty either.
Breakfast was good, with nice bread, butter, jam, ham, cheese, and some cereal. If you're lucky you get fresh veggies, like tomatoes and cucumber. Coffee and tea all day long.
There's free WiFi, but I didn't try it. They have a TV, movies, computer with internet free for use, in the common room.
