Homewood Suites by Hilton Minneapolis - Mall of America

Chose this hotel for it's location across the street from the MOA and the Hilton brand. Three night stay in a twin suite with a teen.

First, the staff was attentive, professional and friendly. The fresh baked cookies at checkin started our stay off on the right foot. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Would have liked to have seen high def televisions but we didn't come here to watch tv so the older models were adequate.

Complimentary breakfasts including selections were above average. The fitness room was clean and kept my son occupied for several hours each day. The pool was clean and well maintained. I was only a little disappointed when I noticed there was no hot tub.

My son misplaced and then forgot an item in the room. The maid turned it in to the front desk which in turn mailed it to us the same day. Perhaps it was the tip left for the maid but I suspect the staff would have returned it anyways.
