Hollywood Studio Inn Los Angeles

We arrived late in the evening only to find that this is not a hotel but rather a motel where the crack addicts take their cheap hookers. The hotel is in a bad area and right next to a sleazy strip joint. Our shower curtain was full of mold, there was a door in the bedroom that lead who knows where that did not lock as it was broken and a small table had been strategically placed in front of it. As soon as I turned on the TV my children and I came face to face with hard core porn. The least the receptionist could have done was issue a warning as he saw plain as day that I had children with me. The heater did not work and there were cigarette burns in what little bedding we did have (a nasty dirty comforter and a sheet). We left in middle of the night because my children were very uncomfortable and could not possibly sleep there. Something or someone was jiggling our door and my children were so frightened we had to leave. Had we not have already prepaid we would have driven away immediately. This was not a 2 star as advertised!


We have stayed a many 2 star hotels over the years, Comfort Inn, Days Inn and even La Quinta, never before have we had such an experience this by far tops them all.
