A fine exterior Jun 14, 2017
This station on the Central Line lies between Notting Hill Gate and Shepherd Bush stations. It was opened in 1900. The station, and many others along the Central Line, was designed by Harry Bell.

What I like about thi station is the series of mask-like faces that decorate the exterior of the building. They look as if they would also be suitable as gargoyles in churches.

The station is a few minutes walk away from Holland Park, and even closer to several caf├ęs.
