Out of town.....but with easy access. Jan 01, 2009
We used this hotel mainly because we had reward points available, so in effect we stayed for free.
Upon arrival, we thought 'oh dear, we're miles from anywhere'. But after a little investigation, we found that access to the city is very easy by public transport or taxi. To get to the centre you need to get a bus 65A to the nearest metro station (Reumannplatz, 15 mins), then take the metro from there (line U1, another 15 min). In a cab it's about 15 euro to Stephansplatz. Nothing special here, but a decent hotel, which we will quite happily use again. There is a large shopping centre right opposite the hotel with several bars and restaurants.  Part of the New Years Day Concert in Vienna. travel blog
