Holiday Inn South Reading

I stayed here for a two day course. The facilities in the Academy area - the conference bit - were modern, comfortable, and managed to stay the right temperature all day. The conference food and snacks were great, with especially nice little mini pan au chocolats. The hotel itself, whilst slightly maze like, was very pleasant. The rooms were a nice size, certainly be UK standards, the hotel was spotless, and there were plenty of towels. There was even a pillow menu. The beds were very comfy. The food was great, although as a minor gripe, the vege option ran out at lunch and the replacement was still slightly cold when served. All of the staff were nice. Those of my friends who used the gym said it was tiny but the pool was nice.

I don't think you'd have a problem with disabled access here.

In terms of location, this hotel is really easy if you're driving, just minutes from the M4. But it is a slog from the railway station and you would definately need a cab.
