Holiday Inn South Baton Rouge

Hotel was clean and located in a good neighborhood. They were doing remodeling on the hotel while we were there, so it was a little noisey at times. The staff was friendly, and responded quickly to any needs we had. We asked for a fridge and they sent us a stinky uncleaned one, we called back and right away they sent another one to replace it. They have an outdoor and indoor heated pool. They are not pet friendly so dont plan on bringing your pet. They also do not serve a complimentary breakfast and the restaurant that serves breakfast is very expensive. The showers are made to accomadate even the handicap, so walking into the bathroom was like walking into a hospital bathroom. It was just a tile floor seperated by nothing other than a curtain. Had a place to sit while you took a shower and two shower heads, one was removeable. Very good water pressure. The towels were nice and soft and the room came with 3 sets. They supplied very nice soap that was good for more than one use. Also supplied face wash and makeup remover. They have a hair dryer, iron board and iron and coffee pot, no microwave. Kind size bed and very comfortable. The pillows were a little uncomfortable, but they have a pillow menu that offers you 4 other types of pillows to choose from. Plenty of room to set up your luggage and still be comfortable.
