Holiday Inn Select Downtown Memphis (Tennessee)

My family and I just stayed a couple of nights in Memphis and decided to try the Holiday Inn Select Downtown. It is directly across the street from the much pricer Peabody Hotel and just as nice. We enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool which is located on the 4th floor of the hotel. Beale Street is 2 blocks away and we really had a great time sight seeing. There are loads of restaurants within walking distance of this location. We also took in an afternoon baseball game at the Autozone Baseball Park which is right next door to the hotel. It is a lovely ball park. We took one afternoon and visited the Memphis Zoo (one of the reasons we went to Memphis). This hotel has a great Panda Package for your family to visit the zoo.

I have to comment on the staff at this hotel. They were really some of the nicest people we have ever met in a hotel. They treated us like we were the most important people in the hotel and made us feel really at home.

If we ever do visit Memphis again, we will stay at this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone I know going to Memphis.
