Holiday Inn Moscow Suschevsky

I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights, with rates ranging from 5500 rubles to 9000 rubles a night. The exchange rate at the time was $1 to ~23 rubles. Add 18% for tax. Ethernet internet connection for 7 days was 2800 rubles, which is a special rate for a week long stay, if it is to be any shorter, daily rates go up considerably.
Breakfast was 850 rubles, which, while the food was good, was entirely too expensive for a regular type of self service food.
Rooms on my floor were non-smoking, but that didn't stop people from smoking in them or have smoke seep through the walls in the mornings from the rooms below.
You get a complimentary water and orange in your room. You also have various teas and an electric kettle. I was not charged for making tea, which is a nice touch.
Restaurant food is priced on par with anything else you'll find in a decent-to-good restaurant in Moscow and the quality was good.
Dry cleaning and laundry was impressively expensive, but quality and without delay.
The front desk staff is snippy and likes to lecture Russian speakers like me for the slightest of faults, but still do what they are supposed to do. English speakers are spared this aspect of hospitality.
Security staff is present inside and outside, so you can at least feel safe on and around the premises.
There were no noticeable ladies of the night as it is common in hotels in Moscow, which was nice by my standards and makes this place acceptable for families.
The hotel is located only an underground passage away from metro Rizhskay, which can take you to the center of Moscow or anywhere else with ease. Metro Prospect Mira is also nearby and within a walking distance.
Getting to the Sheremetyevo 2 airport late Sunday morning from the hotel was painless and took only 30 minutes.
