Fairly Decent, check in could have been better Aug 06, 2009
Chose the Holiday Inn up next to the Bernabeu Stadium, and in the financial area, mainly as they did family rooms. Cost £120 a night for the four of us, breakfast included.

right next to the Europa Tower, the enterance is offset from the main road with a gym running along the front to the road.

Right on the metro, Santiago Bernabeau ( Line 10), and easy enough to travel about from there.Location may actually suit, depending on the nature of your visit

Struck immediately checking in, and again at breakfast, with the number of airline crews that were staying there. Took that to be a good sign, as they would surely not put up with it if it was at all bad.

Maybe that is who they are used to dealing with, because the receptionist was decidely offish with us. We weren't exactly dressed the part, but we were still paying customers that had a reservation.

Didn't really spend much time in the hotel, but it did have a pool open until 11pm,a sauna and spa, and internet access was available at a cost.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and beds were big and cozy :-)and even though we were on the 8th floor there were 3 lifts that were very quick

Breakfast was superb and served quickly, and there was a friendly atmosphere in the breafast bar.Choice was there to satisfy and feed anyone from anywhere in the world. Plenty of choice and it was help yourself to as much as you wanted.

There were a few restaurants round about if you wanted to get out for something to eat, but I reckon most folk would have gone the 15 minutes on the metro into the centre of the city.

Weren't in the bar at night, but when we were coming back into the hotel at night there were still a fair number sitting around the tables there .
