Holiday Inn Helsinki Vantaa Airport

I paid 95 Euros a night for a double room here. It is situated about 3 KM from the Helsinki Vantaa airport and free shuttle buses run between the hotel and the airport every 20 minutes (except for a three hour break between 12:00 and 15:00 in the afternoon).

The hotel is located in a quite place surrounded by trees. There is a large open backyard with wooden chairs where people can lounge or play games or just stroll.

There is a large entertainment complex called the Jumbo and another one which I dont remember the name of at a 5 minute walking distance from the hotel but even then you never hear any traffic or any noise around. The street outside the hotel is quiet and covered with trees and flowers and is positively beautiful.

Brakfast was extra at 15 Euros per person but is the hugest and most amazingly varied buffet I have ever seen. Totally worth the money in my opinion.

Service was good too and there is a restaurant on the ground floor though it closes at 23:00 and you dont get room service either after that.

There is FREE WIRELESS INTERNET in every room and in the lobby as well.

A definite recommendation from me.
