Great hotel, great price Mar 02, 2008
I stay here once a month on business and the hotel generally is clean, comfortable and the staff are great!
The rooms are smallish, but functional. Two double bed rooms lack floor space. Bathroom amenities are the normal Holiday Inn stuff. The best thing about the hotel is it is relatively close to Mesa Verde National Park... a fabulous National park with indian ruins. Cortez is a great place to use as a home base to explore the four corners area of the US west. The hotel gives you a free drink coupon to use in the hotel restaurant, Kokos. The place has good food at reasonable prices. There is a Walmart within 1 block of the hotel, as well as other fast food restaurants. All in all, a good place to stay! |
