A popular poet once said that it takes a heap of living to make a house a home. And that is true about our Holiday Chalet which has been my family home for three generations. If ever there were a mansion destined to become a welcome home to travelers over many generations, it is our grand and gracious Holiday Chalet. Our elegant three-story brownstone was built in 1896 for Henry Bohm-a prominent Denver jeweler. My grandfather Noah Hayden Griffith purchased this lovely home in 1912.
