Pleasant hotel with everything you need Aug 05, 2008
I stayed at this hotel from August 4th through August 10th of 2008. Overall, I was pleased with my stay. The hotel offered everything I needed, and I found many times that I really didn't need to leave. The hotel has a private beach, which is never crowded, where you can swim, snorkel, scuba dive, and even fish. All equipment is offered at the hotel, and there is also an on site dive shop. Plenty of chairs and shade for everyone. There is a lovely restaurant and bar on the beach with good food. I ate there everyday for lunch or dinner. Incredible view. You are practically eating on the sand. The hotel also has a casino, and the only 24 hour restaurant on the island, Denny's. The people were nice. There was always someone to help you with your bags or call a taxi. The rooms were always kept cool. There are refrigerators in the rooms, as well as cable television with free movie channels. Downtown Willemstad is within walking distance, but the hotel offers a free shuttle. I would recommend staying there.

Affordable for Curacao, but Curacao is Expensive! Apr 23, 2008
The Holiday Beach is a good value for expensive Curacao. Nice, large rooms a nice casino, pool, and bars and to top it all off a Dennys! Free shuttles to downtown Willemstad and right on the ocean.
Make sure to ask for a room not facing the factory on one side of the hotel! Their English is excellent as is everyone's in Curacao, ironically their English was better than their Dutch which was true everwhere in Curacao. |
