Sai Gon - Ho Chi Minh city is always busy as usual day. Streets were always full of bikes. However, everything was lightly changed when new year was coming. Buildings, parks, even roads were glowed by lights and flowers i.e orchids, roses, marigolds etc. A new coat put on all things on these days.

I would recommend this city to anyone who wants to get a good idea on Vietnamese culture, identity and heritage. Ha Noi is pretty, but it does not have the blood, sweat and tears that Sai Gon has. The people are genuine, humble, friendly and inviting. I love, love, LOVE this city.

Sydney, Australia -› Cairns, Australia -› …
We woke at 7am and had a breakfast of pineapple, watermelon, dragonfruit (colourful outside, monochrome inside) and banana downstairs before setting out to the bus station and the bank to get some chores done. We walked to get a feel for the place, but I hoped to convince Zoe to hire bicycles as I …

This is my Bog Blog!
Call them whatever you like:
dunnies, pissers, gravy bowls, pissoirs, porcelain caves, potties, loos, crappers, dumpers, shitters, outhouses, throne, bogs, longdrops, WC's.
As much as we dont want to think about it, even good looking girls have to crap every day!
The vast array of toilets in the world have fascinated me for a long time.
This blog will be continuously updated as long as I continue to travel the world and wake up needing to hang a dump.

Bangkok, Thailand -› Luang Prabang, Laos -› …
My first time start-to-end backpacking trip and my first time in a tropical country... and it was great! We first took a boat up north to a fishing village and then went down to beautiful Luang Prabang, next to partytown Vang Vieng and finally to Vientiane. The overnight bus brought us to Pakse with an impressive two day jungle treck through Xe Pian NPA. After a stay at the 4000 islands we crossed the border to Phnom Penh and the temples of Angkor and went back from Saigon.
