Historic French Market Inn New Orleans
Historic French Market Inn New Orleans Reviews
Central Location Oct 20, 2007
Historic French Market Inn was a great experience for us. Inside its a little confusing to find your room, and the staff failed to give us good directions how to get there. But it has a great historic feel. The courtyards inside the hotel are beautiful and is a great place to relax and talk with friend and other travelers. It was in a central location so we were able to walk anywhere within the French Quarter that we wanted to get to so we never needed our car.
It is a little more pricy but if you get a group like we did (a group of 4 in a 2 bedroom) it is definately more affordable and can help you have a good experience so everyone can walk home from bourbon street :) Part of the Exploring Arkansas travel blog |

I was impressed with this hotel. Located in the heart of the French Quarter and a view of the Mississippi River, it was within walking distance to everywhere I wanted to go while in New Orleans.
The only downfall to my stay was the remodeling work that was being done. The noise was kept to a minimum but had to make my way around scaffolding in the courtyards. It was built in 1722 and the hotel consists of several intertwining buildings. If you want a feel of the old New Orleans, this is the place to stay. It is famous for the weddings that take place in the courtyard. My room was $71 a night which is an incredible price for a hotel room in the French Quarter. Part of the Train Trip 2005 travel blog |

We stayed right in the middle of the French Market at the Historic French Market Inn. It was an excellent choice, well priced and right in the middle of everything. We could walk across the parking lot across the street and have a look at the Mississippi River. If we walked south we were… Yeah for 3 day weekends |
