A walk through history Mar 25, 2012
First of all, I would not recommend this venue as a place for kids, as they do not censor much here...

One of the most memoriable destinations of my 2 1/2 week journey in Japan. Some of the stories brought tears to my eyes, and some of the exibits just stopped me in my tracks... I learned things that they didn't teach me in school about the atomic bomb, things that changed my opinion and views about how "superior" us Americans are for have such destructive weapons. But let me stop my thoughts here before I get into politics.

This place is a MUST visit if you are around the area.

Place of Tragedy, Must See... Jun 20, 2011
If you are in Hiroshima this place is a Must visit for you. Simple things can make you cry: the watch stopped at 8.15 when bombing happen, Flame of Peace, a whole section of the paper cranes folded by children in memory of Sadako two year old victim, and many many little things left from that time. It is a busy place but make sure you take your time.

There are audio guides in many languages, make sure you take one and observe every section with all the details.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial May 05, 2011
Absolute must in Hiroshima. At first I had trouble because it has me at least very long time before beating you down. I think it is one of the world's major museums, remain for the simple reason that war and atomic bombs no empty words. I'll never understand what they did for a suffering people through. I aks me why? I am amazed, was surprised how the city and the people are today.
