Hippocampus Hotel Kamari

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights at Hippocampus just this last August and it was wonderful! We stayed at many other hotels throughout Greece and on other Islands, but staying at Hippocampus made our trip truly worthwhile. Its location is perfect, just a short stroll to Kamari beach – close to all of the tavernas and restaurants and tourist shops – yet not near any noise. Plus we simply only had to walk around the corner to catch the bus (leaves every 20 mins) to Thira and Oia. The room itself was very spacious and clean, with both a double and single bed for the 2 of us. We had our own self contained kitchen, and bathroom….overlooking the pool. The room was cleaned daily and the breakfast was fabulous! It is TRULY VALUE FOR MONEY. The staff are the best hosts you could ever ask for - always willing to answer any and all of our questions. They are very warm and friendly and Maria speaks very good English. If you are looking for VALUE FOR MONEY and a magnificent and very relaxing place to stay at breathtaking Santorini we highly recommend Hippocampus. We had the time of our lives! This little hotel in Kamari, Santorini is very comfortable and the owner herself lives there and she is very friendly. The rooms are clean and with a little balcony. There is breakfast at the hotel and it is fantastic. The beach is about 50 meters from the hotel and the busses are driving near by all the time. I enjoyed the stay and are definately coming back if I choose to visit the fabulous island Santorini.
