Hilton Resort & Spa Whistler

The customer service from the driveway to our bedroom door was outstanding! The rooms were spacious and even had a REAL, WORKING fireplace in it! Talk about location, you walk out of the hotel, grab your skies, and walk 20 feet to the Whistler or Blackcomb Gondolas! Within the hotel you have a few food and drink choices, room service was really reasonably priced in comparison to these. Room service is not available late night, my only criticism...however, the mountains wore us out early so it didn't really matter.

Aside from being so close to skiing, the Hilton is right in Whistler village. You are close to food, shopping, and entertainment. Whistler Village feels like it's own little world, closed off from stress about work and anything else you know back home. It doesn't matter which side of the hotel your room is on because there is a 360 degree view of the mountains in this town. They are stunning!

To give you an idea of how excellent the service is here...when I got back into the US I realized I couldn't find my ipod. I figured it was in a coat pocket or a random pocket of one of my suitcases. After unpacking I realized I had left it in the drawer of the bedside table in the hotel. I called the hotel to ask if housekeeping had found anything, unfortunately not. The next day I get a phone call from the front desk, they had found my ipod and wanting shipping information so that they could send it to me. I asked if I could leave a tip for housekeeping on my credit card, along with the shipping charges. They said absolutely not, they were happy to help! Quality...Wow factor.
