Travelled to UAE in 2006. Flew into Dubai via Qatar and got a private transfer to the Hilton.. Lovely hotel, about 40mins or so out of Dubai but did not mind as nice and quiet.
Not much to do around the hotel apart from sunbathe and go to the beach. Courtesy bus every 10mins to the beach club. At the time of travelling the beach resort was being upraded with luxury villas, it was still very nice.... Arranged various excursions from the hotel, Oman, Camel Farm, beduin tents, and a brilliant day trip to Dubai City arranged by the courier who collected me from the airport Jaber. He was super and took brilliant care of me.. Hope to go back to Dubai, Abu Dhabi  Part of the Dubai 2006 travel blog
